Madame News: Magical Egypt

Âbkaou, Hatshepsout, Shout... References that will delight Egyptomaniacs, on the lookout for a decoration rich in motifs, and who will not miss "The Palace of Hieroglyphics, in the footsteps of Champollion" (on france.tv), a new documentary that offers an exclusive visit to the largest tomb in Egypt, that of Padiamenopé, near Luxor. On the jewelry side, the passion is also at the rendezvous, including Alexandra Abramczyk, who signs this ring Eye of Horus, a sacred symbol linked to eternal life.

Pinky Rings: A Modern Jewellery Trend Rooted in History

We often hear that necessity is the mother of invention. This is particularly true in fashion, and even more than one might think in fine jewellery. For instance, let's take the pinky ring. Where does this jewellery obsession with ancient Egypt come from?

It's hard to associate the word "trend" with Egyptomania, as this devouring passion has never ceased to be in vogue since the first expedition of Napoleon I and the deciphering of hieroglyphs by Champollion. The tourist destination was, of course, back at the top of the list of requests between Christmas and Easter of this year, but this is only one factor in the equation to explain this craze.

Paris in the soul

We were inspired by the iconic style of French women who go beyond perfection and minimalism to confidence and attitude.

Talking about inspiration in the beauty industry can be a subject that, for many, lends itself to being subjective and individual, subject to personality, style and identity. For others, however, it is defined as an idea so universal that, guided by trends, it is as if it were a common thread that connects us because we share the same ideas and aspirations in a world fueled by creativity.

Precious Room by Muriel Piaser, the precious place to be

In contrast to impersonal salons or confidential showrooms, Muriel has created a refined meeting place with a joyful conviviality that attracts emerging brands, buyers or buying offices, journalists, opinion leaders and influencers, trend offices, gallery owners or simply jewelry lovers on the lookout for new, trendy and singular artisanal jewelry proposals.

The Alexandra Abramczyk brand is also synonymous with its creator, an artist inspired by marvelous worlds populated by magical fauna and flora that she imagines and transforms into precious talismans. At Precious Room, she presents her fish pendants, very much inspired by the figurative jewelry of the 1970s, a symbol of prosperity in Brazilian culture in particular and of spirituality in general in the ancient world. When a beautiful piece of jewelry is a talisman, it is Alexandra Abramczyk's!
